Reflections Farm is owned by Kriestin Kleinschmidt. Kriestin served as an Army Nurse for many years and then settled at Reflections Farm. In 2011, she began offering horse shows and clinics at the farm.
Located near Vass, NC, Reflections Farm is located in the well-known Horse Country of Moore County, NC. She believes that her farm offers the perfect combination of excitement, challenge and safety for both horse and rider. Kriestin’s horsemanship has changed her life on all levels and she wants to share that with others.
Kriestin finds it especially rewarding watching participants compete at the show series and participate in the clinics. The changes that occur after people accomplish goals that they or their horse thought were impossible — are amazing. The friendly competition that occurs at our shows gives the participants a chance to work on show nerves and sets up a perfect opportunity for horses to settle in before going to large recognized shows.
My Mentors: Tom Curtin, Trina Curtin, and Linda Hoover
"I am very blessed to be mentored by 3 amazing horsemen. Tom Curtin, Trina Curtin and Linda Hoover have guided me on my journey to become a better leader and partner to my horse. They have taught me that everything matters to the horse, so it should matter to me.
The more I learn from them, the more I strive to improve my skill and my partnership with my horse. With their help and support, I have not only changed as a horseman, but as a person.
The only way I know how to show my appreciation to them is to share my time and my farm with other people, so that they may also experience all that my mentors have taught me." ~Kriestin
Thanking Some Wonderful People
"I want to take this opportunity to Thank my family and friends for all of the support they have given me with Reflections Farm and all of our events. My mother especially has been my greatest supporter.
